    • LRRA is perhaps the most active club in central NH with genuine member growth

    • Club-operated nets for members:  yes Sundays at 7PM on the above repeater
    • Monthly social breakfasts: yes
    • Monthly club meetings and presentations: no
    • Local ham flea market: yes
    • License courses: no
    • VE exams: yes
    • Field Day: Yes
    • Public service events: yes, club managed

    • This club had some key members pass-on or leave so like an athletic team, CNHARC is going through a rebuilding process.
    • Multiple networked repeaters: yes
    • Primary repeater:  146.985 -0.6  PL:123.0  FM analog Gunstock Mtn, Gilford, NH
    • Yaesu Fusion C4FM repeater in Sanbornton, NH (see web site for more details)
    • Club-operated nets for members: no
    • Monthly social breakfasts: no
    • Club meetings and presentations: yes quarterly at the Gilford Public Library
      • Many topics have been quite good.
    • Local ham flea market: no
    • License courses: no
    • VE exams: no
    • Field Day: no

    • Not really a traditional club with dues and formal membership but more of a social networking group to hold on-air events
    • Multiple networked repeaters: no, just one
    • Primary repeater:  147.240 +.6 PL-88.5, Liberty Hill, Gilford, NH
    • Repeater supports both Yaesu Fusion C4FM digital and FM analog
    • Monthly social breakfasts: no
    • Club meetings and presentations: no
    • Local ham flea market: no
    • VE exams: no
    • Field Day: yes both summer and winter.  Field Day is their main reason for being


       Winter Field Day for the hearty types.

       

     


    New England Digital Emergency Communications Network
      http://www.nedecn.org

    • Primarily a NE-wide collection of 90 linked DMR digital repeaters.
    • Local repeaters:  VHF & UHF Gunstock Mtn, Gilford, NH (more, see website)
    • Very wide area coverage, many sites linked by private microwave
    • Direct support for many public service events (ie: Boston Marathon, others)
    • Wide area coverage has come in handy for finding lost hikers, winter and summer

    Nashua Area Radio Society   https://www.n1fd.org/

    • Not local to the NH Lakes Region but...
    • One of the most active ham radio clubs in the US with over 400 members
    • Noted for excellent license courses and VE exams  (Tech, General, Extra)
      • Not FCC exam memorization but true mentoring and learning
    • Operate a well-managed annual Field Day operation
    • Noted for excellent STEM programs with local schools
    • Dedicated to bring new hams into the hobby and club
    • This club conducts a very well respected Ham Radio Boot Camp. ç
